Let’s Get On Board…With Pallets!

These days, it seems like DIY (do-it-yourself) projects are all the rage! What a great feeling to receive compliments on something you created! Recently, while perusing Pinterest for funky and unique projects that I could make all by myself, I kept coming across a variety of ways to repurpose the average, plain, wooden pallet.

(Pallets are typically used to support goods while they are being moved by a forklift.)

They are inexpensive and easy to find in your community. Local hardware or feed stores and even searching on Craigslist are great places to find pallets to reuse for your next DIY project.

I was amazed at some of the transformations that people had created! This inspired me to share with you some of my favorites. Bookcases, headboards, plant holders, dog beds… the pallet possibilities are seemingly endless!

Reusing pallets can transform the look of a space, indoor or outdoor and give it that rustic, shabby chic look. Here at Woodmaster Woodworks we want to inspire you this spring! During the month of April, each week we will be featuring different DIY projects that have inspired us. Follow us and comment to let us know what DIY projects you plan on working on this spring and summer.

Once you have followed us here on our blog, you will be immediately entered in a drawing to win a $50.00 gift card to Home Depot to help get your DIY project! The winner will be selected and announced on April 30th 2013.
